Because we all need support. As Christians we are comanded to be there for one another.

Simply put, parents need help, too. It’s a challenge to work, raise a family, help with homework, cook meals, and manage numerous extracurricular activities. Many parents are over-extended and race from one activity to the next throughout the week. They need encouragement, too. They also need to hear the good things that are happening in the classroom.

because working together with parents and teachers will be beneficial to the progress of the child academically.

It helps their child. It builds relationships with child, parent, and teacher.

They have chosen to place their child into a Christian school for a reason. God put those parents (or grandparents) in place to support their children, we must support the parent and child as well. In return the parents will support the educator and we build a strong community to support their child together.
