I made this a regular habit when teaching history. When we are learning about the cause or effect of world events or the actions of a leader, I always bring it back to what the Bible says about those actions. I make it a regular practice to loop biblical wisdom into what we are learning about history.

I teach math so I am consistently reminding my students that they were made in His image. Throughout the year I can see their confidence increase. It is a blessing to see their confidence increase over time by simply reminding them they were made in His image.

During our textbook lessons, I always refer to a scripture that relates to our topic.

In my high school leadership class, one way I reinforce the lessons is by referencing biblical examples that illustrate the leadership principles we’re studying. A figure we frequently examine is Nehemiah, a biblical leader who exemplifies many of the specific leadership principles we discuss in class. His story provides a powerful and practical example of effective leadership in action.
