This is a concept that is carefully brought up by the teacher through critical thinking to cause students to get involved in class activities based on a certain topic that has been taught. It further helps students to re-evaluate their understanding of the topic being assessed by the teacher. This is equally to help teachers revise their plans as well, to see what could be done better or what went wrong at the initial point of teaching the lesson.

Processing activities are intentional exercises integrated into lessons to encourage students to reflect deeply on their learning experiences. These activities not only help students revisit previous lessons or concepts but also allow them to evaluate how their understanding, perspectives, or viewpoints have evolved over time. Also, they help students make connections between new knowledge and prior learning, fostering critical thinking and deeper understanding.
