We need students in all walks and disciplines to be able to go out and spread the good news of Christ.

This is to mean that everyone is made for eternity. Life is just for a while. While living this life, there is an assignment for everyone. It is therefore key to know our calling, so we can fulfill our assignment from God. Here, we as Christian educators should not settle for just passing academic knowledge but to pass God’s knowledge about His call on the lives of the children.

We should be focused on developing the whole student. So, of course using cognitive interaction to grow their brains is important! However, equally important is helping to shape their emotional and spiritual sides. We should help to shape their Christian worldview so they can be spreaders and defenders of the gospel.

We are to raise children who are not ashamed of the gospel. They need to be able to apply the biblical principles to their life(academic, physical, emotional and spiritual).

Raising graduates who are critical thinkers and active doers is an important goal of academia, but beyond that and far more important is raising a generation who’ll keep passing the truth about who God is.
