I think something that is so relevant for today is “How do we know what is right and wrong?” So many say that it is up to each person about what is right and wrong. This is so important in a biblical curriculum to show our students the true guide to right and wrong laid out for us in the Bible.

The question that stood out is how do we know what is right or wrong? Ideas today are being challenged. People are not looking to the Bible for answers. They are doing their own thing and they are not concerned about God. We need to train up children who will recognize when they have done wrong and repent.

The sixth question is most striking; how do we know what is right or wrong? I have teenage children (as a mom) and while I apply a constructivist approach to teaching my kindergartners, I find it challenging to give my middle and high school biological children complete freedom over their choices. I believe that part of my ministry as their mom is to re-route them using foundational biblical truths.

Dr. MacCullough’s guiding question, “What is a human being?” resonated with me because it highlights the importance of understanding and teaching students about their identity and purpose from a biblical perspective. This question encourages me to consider how my lessons can help students develop a Christ-centered understanding of themselves and their place in the world.

I loved the question, ” What is the meaning of human history?” It’s a great question and makes one wonder about the real purpose of the knowledge we have of our own history.
