Jesus is demonstrating his divine nature by taking on human form to share in the suffering and experiences of humanity, interacting with and touching those afflicted by the burdens of sin and sickness. His act of humbly washing the disciples’ feet exemplifies God’s supreme reign and showcases genuine love towards humanity. This gesture symbolizes a sacred and pure love directed at suffering humanity striving to discover true meaning in their life’s purpose.

the geography where Jesus ministered helps us not only understand His audience and why He went to where He went throughout His ministry, but it also helps us to see Him in his humanity, being led by His Father God, and helps us relate to the physical and mental struggles He had in his travels.

Understanding the geography of where Jesus ministered gives a context for His teachings and ministry.

Understanding where He was at different times during His ministry helps us understand why He was doing/saying things. For example, His withdrawal to the Gentile area helps us understand His rejection by Jewish leaders.

To learn about ministry and the people he was saving (the lost sheep everywhere), to also enhance the validity of the Gospel accounts.
