Understanding the intertestamental period is crucial for grasping the context in which the New Testament events unfold. This period, spanning roughly 400 years between the Old and New Testaments, saw significant developments in Judaism, Hellenistic culture, politics, and religious thought. Understanding the cultures, influences and history of this time will provide context to help me study the new testament.
