I learned a little more on the pres, mids, and posts viewpoints and interpretations.

I was happy to read of the different interpretations. Preternatural,Idealist, futurist, historicist. Then the different millennial views. Each have scriptures to back them, but premillenialist, to midmillenialist, to postmillenialist. Hearing that this professor takes the post-millennial viewpoint is very surprising.

I had always been puzzled about the relationship between the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls. As Dr Blomberg, the sixth in each set is so catastrophic that it is hard to follow one set after the other. His suggestion of overlap in that the sixth item releases the next set of judgments is quite plausible to me. Equally new is his perspective of looking at the 144,000 and the multitude who come out of the tribulation as one and the same.

This better explained the possible beliefs of people and that it is Revelation – not plural.
