God knows we will fail. He will still receive us with open arms, with forgiveness and compassion when we come back to Him.

Since the fall of man, we are destined to fail. God wants us to come back to him to learn to be good and develop our relationship with him.

This is significant because God is gracious with us and He loves us. No matter what we do, he wants us to return to him and turn to a life of obedience walking in step with Him.

God is the Alpha and the Omega. We were made in His image and our life needs to (try) to reflect that. If we are to be His servants in the truest sense, we need to ensure that we are always asking that God corrects us, and not be afraid of asking for that correction. This world is insignificant without God. There is no purpose to it unless we have a meaningful relationship with Him. That is why coming back to God, no matter our sin, is as significant today as it was in the times of the Old Testament.

God loves us. He wants us to repent and turn back to him. No matter what we have done or what our circumstances may be, He wants us to turn from our sin and follow him.
