    In a job, I experienced failure, but Jesus my Lord went ahead of me and protected me. In divorce, I experienced the comfort of God, when I was completely lost.

    Divorce. Probably one of the worst times of my life. It brought me to God.

    1 particular crisis point comes to mind. It occurred at a time when I was not walking with The Lord, though I would have said I was at the time. It resulted in a significant encounter with The Lord in 1993, which I now believe was a new birth experience. Quite simply life has 2 seasons as I look back – before Oct 1993, and after Oct 1993.     Divorce and loss of my job within a year, keep my away from God, at least in my mind. I left the Christian community for awhile but always knew God was there even though I was mad at Him for allowing both of those things to happen.
