This was my biggest takeaway; perfection is to first accept that we ARE created in the true image of God and co-heirs, so family and if family there are and should be things that come natural, seeking perfection via continual growth and in Christ we mature into a “similar” reflection of Christ, as we learn to listen, walk, talk and yield to the Holy Spirit and His direction we are formed… never achieved (while in our human bodies) until our last breath on earth,

As described in this course, perfection is the attempt to be more Christ like. It has shown me I cannot be better, purer, wiser or more loving through my own actions but must let Christ work through me to bring me to a level that is better, purer, wiser and more loving. It is a work that does not end until he calls us home.

Aspiring toward perfection’s definition, is different from trying to be better, purer, wiser, or more loving because when you try to be better, you stand on your own strength, and will surely fail. It is as said a dynamic movement toward God. It is a longing, a life walk. Enoch ” walked with God “. ” When Christ is in us and we are in Christ, we are assisted by the power of the Holy Spirit.” We learn to know Christ, we submit ourselves to Him, to His Word, and this helps us to walk with Him.

Aspiring toward perfection I believe is leaving the past behind Uganda reaching forward to what God has to offer. Trying to be better worldly things is obtained through our power but aspiring toward perfection is letting God guide us and using his strength.

All of those things come to be as we walk with God; without God it’s never really possible to be better, purer, wiser..
