I stand behind the Jesus in the Bible, but the one Muslims speak about is foreign to me.

The Jesus Muslim’s referred to was only a prophet, but he was so much more he was God walking amongst men.

Muslims believe that Jesus was just merely a good man (not deity), a prophet, and an excellent teacher. They reject the idea that Jesus was the Son of God. Christians on the other hand know that Jesus was God and came to dwell among us. He lived a perfect life and died a gruesome death on the cross to atone for our sins. Yes, he was a prophet and a teacher, but Jesus was so much more. Christ was wholly God and wholly man.

Jesus claims and is God. Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet.

In Muslim belief and the teaching, Jesus was a good man who was great in teaching, but He was just a prophet. But in the Bible that we read, Jesus Christ being fully God and full deity, full humanity. And that He is equal with God, eternally and essentially God.
