The resurrection of Jesus is important for several reasons.

    1) the resurrection witnesses to the immense power of God Himself. To believe in the resurrection is to believe in God. If God exists, and if He created the universe and has power over it, then He has power to raise the dead. If He does not have such power, He is not worthy of our faith and worship.

    2) The resurrection of Jesus Christ is also important because it validates who Jesus claimed to be, namely, the Son of God and Messiah.

    3) Another reason the resurrection of Jesus Christ is important is that it proves His sinless character and divine nature. The Scriptures said God’s “Holy One” would never see corruption (Psalm 16:10), and Jesus never saw corruption, even after He died (see Acts 13:32–37).

4)The resurrection of Jesus Christ not only validates His deity, but it also validates the Old Testament prophecies that foretold of Jesus’ suffering and resurrection (see Acts 17:2–3).

    5) But if there is no resurrection from the dead, then <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;”>Christ was not raised, Paul began. If Christ was not raised from the dead, then the gospel message itself is false. Paul says that, in that case, his own teaching would have been vain or worthless.

Because Jesus rose from the dead. He defeated death and with Him he brought from death all of us forgiven for all of our transgressions.

Because it gives up hope in suffering down here and makes us look forward to a reward after dying.

The resurrection is very important to Christians. It is what sets Jesus apart from all other “gods”. He died a brutal death on the cross, but Jesus did not stay dead. He came back to life, walked on earth teaching for a short while, and then ascended back to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with all men. No other “god” is still alive for they all died, were buried, and remain dead. That is what sets Jesus apart from all others and proves that He is God (not a god or mere man). His resurrection paved the way for our own entrance path to heaven through accepting Him and his sacrifice for the remission of our sins.

The resurrection is the assurance of our salvation and eternal life. The world may be our temporary place but what we yearn for is the everlasting kingdom of God. Therefore, Jesus resurrection is our assurance and we believed that He could brings us into eternity.
