If we don’t find out, we will give an overview of the main religious groups and their influence in the world. It is also a way to recognize the superiority and transcendence of the religion you are pursuing

if we know from what perspective others view God, and eternal life and religious rituals it helps to understand them better, rather than thinking that they think the same as us. Sharing about Jesus without knowing anothers standpoint may be ineffective.

Knowing about other world religions will help me to see to see what they believe to understand how they differ from what I believe.

I think that it is essential for Christians to become familiar with the traditions and practices of other world religions so that we can better understand one another in order to develop genuine relationships with people irregardless of their non-Christian beliefs. Such knowledge and awareness enables Christians to be compassionate, kind and generous with those who aren’t yet aware of who Jesus is and what he did for humanity.

Mutual understanding and respect. It’s very important to understand so that you can have genuine respect for others religions and beliefs.
