Given the influence of Christianity in the last couple hundred years, I would say that monotheism has the greatest influence of explaining origins. This youngest generation has embraced a Godly perspective in this world. On the flip side, many young adults are also “deconstructing” their faith and turning to a Naturalistic world view. The things that happen in their life all can be proven through science.

Monotheism and Naturalism. Monotheism is wildly represented by Christians and Muslims. Through education I experienced that you were either taught to be a monotheist or a naturalist. Existentialism might be right up there with Naturalism as people are also learning to define their own truth.

I believe Monothesisum and Natralisum are currently the most influential—God vs Science. Most debates and discussions about “truth” come from ether a monotheistic or naturalistic worldview. Many use science in an attempt to prove Monothiesum wrong, when monotheism continues to use science to prove itself accurate and the foundation of truth.

Monotheism- Just by the sheer number of Christians and Muslims
Naturalism- This has become at least a predominant portion of many cultures worldview. I believe this is a convenient view to explain away a God and a standard. It’s an attempt to cure guilt, and accountability which natural man in his sin nature does not naturally want to face.

I would say the two most influential worldviews today are Monotheism and Naturalism. I believe this because Monotheism is a believe in God as creator and the antithesis of this would be Naturalism, there is no God and no intelligent design.
