Naturalism says that our ideas about right and wrong come from nature and human experiences, not from a higher power. It uses reason and what we see in the world to help us understand ethics. However, some people think this isn’t enough because it doesn’t give a strong reason for why certain things are right or wrong for everyone. Without a higher source, moral values can seem different depending on where you are or who you ask. So, while naturalism helps us think about ethics, many believe it doesn’t provide a solid foundation for rules that everyone should follow.

No, they believe that social groups are the sole source of ethical systems, which there are no ethical absolutes from one culture to another. Humans are flawed, most lack critical thinking and conform to the ever changing culture.

Naturalism can explain how ethical behaviors arise from evolution or social constructs, but it struggles to provide an objective, universal foundation for moral values. Without an absolute standard, moral values may seem subjective or culturally relative, rather than inherently right or wrong.

I do not think that naturalism holds an adequate basis for ethical values. If it did, we would see that over time, behaviors and living conditions around the world would improve. Instead, we continue to see that no matter the education, help, or technology, human behavior continues to be sinful, and people continue to be treated in a poor manner. People are the same as years ago.
