I read the prophetic and apocalypse genres the most and the Epistles the least. This was not always the case though. In the beginning of my walk with Christ I read the narrative and the epistle genres the most. I love all of God’s word.

I usually read more poetry genres. The genre is at least a story. I love the genre of poetry because I love the praise of God’s salvation through poems

I think I read the narrative genre more than the others. I would say that I read the parables less than others. The narrative is my favorite in Bible study for teaching Sunday School class. This gives the students an overall picture of the scripture from the beginning as we dive into the scripture deeper trying to get the true understanding of God’s Word.

I think I tend to read the narrative parts most because I enjoy seeing God and Jesus in every day life situations. I enjoy the epistles as they give a good understanding of Paul and others. If I had to label a least favorite, it would probably be apocalyptic. I often fear I will misinterpret something there.

I read poetry and apocalypse the moment because that’s what I’m currently studying. Though I was reading the epistle genre previously, closely followed by narrative. I don’t dislike any particular genre, though can get weary with too much narrative all at once. I favour the forthright nature of instruction in epistles, and the wonder of the words that God gave man to convey meaning through the poetry.
