The freedom that we have is because Jesus gave himself to die for us, so we are no longer slave. We have a freedom to choose the right choice with His guidance.

The freedom that I have in Jesus Christ now is from sustaining myself from the world, the flesh, the walk in my life. I understand clearly now why Christ died on the cross. To make me free and to be with him, walking free Into God, spirit

As we repent and turn away from our sin God forgives us by His grace and mercy. As we live in Christ, he begins to change our hearts to be more and more like His.

Over the years I have considered and experienced the fruits of the Spirit on many occasions. I have chosen to study this module seeking a fresh experience of those gifts and a Spirit led discernment for ministry at this time.

I have studied the fruits of the spirit and named my ministry GHAL522 AFTER Galatians 5: 22. These fruits are what the branches of the Vine bear. We are to not only bear fruit according to John 15, but we are to Bear more fruit, and then after pruning, much fruit! That means even as fruit grows on the vine there is such thing as Vine ripe. Some fruits are taken off the vine early but are still edible. But when a fruit is fine right, it is full of the fiber, nutrients, vitamins that is needed if it stays on the vine during its full time. Jesus through the holy Spirit causes us to grow in him. As the branches cannot bear fruit of itself, but the nutrients for the fruit come from the Vine. So we as human beings cannot practice morality such as loving kindness and say we have achieved fruit, but we must submit to the leading and power of the holy Spirit that the fruit of the holy spirit will grow through us as well as in US. The fruit we bear is completely impossible for our flesh to bear, that’s why it is called fruits of the spirit. Benjamin Franklin kept a diary in which he practiced morality and he was able to train himself to develop a moral character. That in itself is commendable, but it is not God. God never tell us to develop values, but to think on these things.. virtues. Virtue is the mindset of God. And that mindset is given to us because no good thing dwelleth in the heart of man. So God has to, through Jesus Christ work on the cross, put his spirit in us as the earnest of our redemption. For Romans will say without his spirit we are none of his. But it is by his spirit that is the juice of the Vine, who is Christ, we the branches grow spiritual fruit. And that fruit is exercise through much pruning, taking away which in the Greek is the word airos which means to lift up, not to detach. For that branch is still connected to the Vine and it still has value but it has fallen in the dirt. So the husbandman lift the branch out of the dirt and ties that Branch to another branch so that it can gain the nutrients of the Sun and from the Vine. So he takes it away from the dirt as God does our life through Christ Jesus. As we are removed from the dirt, the life of the holy Spirit flows more easily into us, and we can begin to produce fruit of the spirit such as loving kindness, meekness, gentleness, temperance, etc. Those things are worked out only by connection to the holy Spirit through Christ Jesus work on the cross. And when Christ work is being completed in US, the fruit of our lives are for others to eat. We also like Christ Jesus be come poured out for others as Jesus will say in John 6 you must eat of me. People around us eat from the word in our life but the word alone must be accompanied by the character / fruits of the spirit in us. No one wants a mean teacher, most people want a gentle teacher. Gentleness. So my life is more than just the words I speak but the character of Christ in me that the holy spirit will work out in me through much growth and growing and when he is done, I can now be a libation for others through the fruits.
