Edwards held a few different beliefs than Calvin. Such as continuous creation, and he tried to explain original sin, and wrote a guide on book of Revelation

Edwards was a definite post-millennial believer somewhat in opposition to the amillennialism of many or most Calvinists.
Edwards tried to explain in depth the theology of original sin which was considered beyond human thinking by Calvin and others. -
1. His doctrine of continuous creation
2. His doctrine of Post-Millenialism
3. His theory of the origin of sin
