ORIGINAL SIN DOES NOT REFER TO THE ORIGINAL SIN, TO THE FFIRST SINL IT REFEFRS TO THE FACT WE HAVE A WITIUM ORIGINIS, WE HAVE A CORRUPTION WITHIN US WHICH WE INHERIT FROM ADAM,
ACTUAL SIN WE THINK AND DO ORIGINATE IN THIS POLLUTED NATURE FROM WHICH THEY PROCEED

Edwards point out the fact that original sin left man totally depraved, natural and without God which is irreversible. Thus, when man sins in actuality, falls short of God’s plan, shows is hatred of God by coming against His Spirit, it is the depravity of “natural man’s depraved heart and nothing can help that except the overriding love of God in a person’s heart, soul, life – total surrender.
