What aspect of Christian theology most militates against Skinnerian manipulation?

Deleted User10/27/2024 at 23:57As Christians, we are a free people. Jesus set us free. John 8:31,32,36 says if we hold to Jesus’ teaching we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. V36 ‘If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.’ 1 Corinthians 6:12 says ‘-but I will not be mastered by anything.’ This includes being manipulated by other people. This is against Skinner’s manipulation approach where man can be manipulated by science. This is wrong in God’s eyes.

Manipulation is the root of control.
The Bible is more in the mindset of freedom of control through the death of Jesus Christ by way of the CROSS.

Deleted User11/07/2023 at 14:211 Corinthians 6:12. We are not to manipulate people, this is wrong. We should seek to develop people and not make them submissive, conforming, or docile. We are to bring the best out of them.

Deleted User06/18/2022 at 00:15Christians should be properly frightened by what they read in such books as B.F.Skinner’s Beyond Freedom and Dignity. Control of other people in order to achieve some purpose desirable to the controller is manipulating and wrong.
