I did always serve as Sunday class teacher, or take care of some community group in the church. But I only considered the ministers, like pastors, and evangelists as being called.

I grew up a Baptist, but I’m now not tied to a denomination. I consider myself a Follower of the Way.

I do not have ties to any one denomination. I consider myself a student of The Holy Bible. Through The Holy Bible I believe we are all called and that all the work we do should be done unto The Lord. We can be a light to the world, no matter what we are doing. However, I am striving to find the “what” God has planned for me.

I agree with Kitty: “My understanding of my calling has been a process that has changed throughout my life time; at different times my calling(s) have change based upon where I am in that particular life journey. Biblical scriptures also have clarified my understanding of my calling and my service.” Mycurrent Pastor has influenced my understanding of my calling through his excellent teaching from the Bible.

I am not aware of how it has shaped my understanding, but being Protestant, I have heard it taught and I believe that all Christians have a priesthood from God, and therefore have a part in the work of His kingdom.
