Discipleship is important because it helps to orchestrate a deeper connection with God. It’s vital to our maturity as believers to move from accepting Christ as Savior to accepting Him as Lord of our lives and discipleship helps in facilitating that growth process.

I believe discipleship is the key to being a Godly person. We should be striving to help draw others to the kingdom of God.

It’s more than just teaching information, it’s about guiding and mentoring others to apply biblical principles in their daily lives. Through discipleship, individuals are encouraged, held accountable, and equipped to share their faith with others. It fosters spiritual growth, builds strong, supportive communities, and ensures that faith is passed on to the next generation. Ultimately, discipleship is about transformation, helping people become more like Christ in their character, actions, and mindset.

The Great Commission is clear. We are all called to study and learn about God. Through His books is how we learn of Him. Faith comes by hearing His word. That’s the start of discipleship.
