  • I learned a lot in this lecture, things I never thought of. What stuck out to me was cultures and when his wife spoke of the adjustments of being a missionary wife.

  • This course has helped to broaden my knowledge of the missionary responsibility to the community they will serve and what the church can do to support missionaries.

    — Martha
  • An excellent course!

  • Very interesting way to have lectures, but very productive. Very encouraging and motivated. I particularly found it very attractive. I would recommend to someone who has a beginner level of theology in academic education. Thanks

    — Wagner
  • The only thing that I did not like about the course was that it was developed in 1984, and the statics are 40 years behind. I would have wanted to have the present statistic available.

  • best course for basic missionary information

  • Much of the course material is as relevant today as when the audio tapes were made some 30 years ago. With that said, some of the audio material is dated and does not correspond with the syllabus (ie reference to roman numerals). The data presented in the lectures has probably changed since the mid 1980s and needs updating. With that said, I did learn a lot about the biblical basis for world missions. For that reason, I would recommend this course, but qualify that recommendation about the age of the recordings. I recommend that the course syllabus include the date the recordings were made and revised.
