Where is the proof of the Tree of Life?

Darwinism cannot explain the sudden emergence of various specifies without a connection to any other species. Fossil records with many gaps cannot verify Darwin’s claims that one species evolved into another. There are no “in-between” fossils that link the two species together.

One weakness of Darwin is the Cambrian explosion where “major body plans and new organisms came into existence in a biologically short period of time.” This is a weakness because if there is evolving taking place, it would have to occur over a long period of time. Another weakness is that the fossil evidence does not support a tree of life as Darwin had thought.
A question I have for a Darwinist would be: at what point does humanity begin? If each human being can be traced back to prior human beings (mother/father), at what point did a human become a human without having human parents? How could the offspring be so different as to now be considered human while the parents would not be so?
