Are there people in your group who do not wish to participate in prayer time? How do you handle that?

Yes there are and I always try to encourage to pray in whatever language they might feel comfortable pointing out that they are not alone and that there particular petition may be someone else’s as well.

No, thankfully, I don’t have group members who do not participate in prayer time.

I provide a format for praying, get people to speak a sentence or two, and I will be the last one to wrap up the prayer.

I haven’t been in a small group that had someone that did not want to participate in prayer time. If someone didn’t want to participate in prayer time I would pray that God change their heart and that they would begin to want to participate in prayer time.

when someone doesn’t want to participate in prayer , the best thing to do is to pray for them and ask Jesus to change their hearts.
