I believe I am a teacher of redemption. My thoughts are directed to give grace, remembering that I have been redeemed and loved in Gods grace.

Yes, I am a teacher of redemption. I always share that learning a second language can be challenging. I made multiple mistakes and I always made sure to learn from them and improve. I tell my students that just like I made mistakes learning a second language,I also make mistakes in my personal life. I always pray to the Lord for forgiveness and ask Him for wisdom. I believe that students can learn from my experiences and know that we all have a sinful nature and the goal is to be more like Christ each day.

Yes, I think our goal as teachers should be to teach our students about Jesus and hopefully see them come to a relationship with the Lord some day. It may not happen while they are with us but at least the seed will be planted. We need to love and respect our students just as the Lord did for us. Show Grace and forgiveness to our students when needed.

I believe the administration team is one of “redemption.” We address the “sin” with the students and then discuss how it could have been approached differently. Teaching grace and hope in a negative situation could lead to redemption in the situation.

Yes, I would like to think so. I literally just had an issue yesterday with a couple of my student council officers. They did something wrong, and thus needed some type of punishment. But when sharing and discussing with them, what that would look like, I reminded them that this in no way changed my love for them. They both thanked me for love and grace, and very maturely accepted their punishment.
