I believe I am a teacher of redemption. We focus on the gift of salvation and that Jesus died on the cross. We often discuss justice for our actions when we hurt one another and how we forgive. We also discuss the differences between forced forgiveness and real forgiveness. I also teach how to politely correct and disagree with someone. That in itself seems something lost in todays world. That is part of forgiveness though and grace, being able to disagree and still love. We practice being grateful to Jesus for forgiving our sins and forgiving one another when we mess up. Including the teacher. I make it a focus of our day and I make sure to model that behavior.

Yes. I believe I am a teacher of redemption. I can allow the love of Christ in myself to demonstrate the saving grace the father have for all of us. By encouraging and demonstrating the Fruits of the Spirit and practicing positive praise and rewarding good actions also allowing opportunities for second chances or a do over. Students will be able to make mistakes and yet come back redeemed.

Yes, redemption is very important. Jesus came so that we could be redeemed with God. God wants a connection with us and that is how we get it. As a teacher, I want a connection with my students. Having a good connection with students helps me to understand their behaviors at times and also the way they speak. A connection also enables me to give my very best to my students even when their behaviors are not the best.

Absolutely. We were given redemption from God when he saved us from sin and showed us grace. I model this with my students and grace is extended frequently. It is important to show love and compassion to students as Christ has done for us.

I definitely try to be. Obviously, I am not perfect, but I do implement and emphasize grace to all of my students.
