Deleted User11/07/2022 at 17:19I believe I have been in the past. I care and have seen students that have come back and said you taught me this or that. More wonderful is seeing Jesus in them. Watching as they have become missionaries, worship leaders or pastors. From tiny children to God fearing adults teaching to the next generation. God awesome.

Deleted User10/18/2022 at 15:51I always tried to be a teacher of redemption. I calmly tried to speak with the child and discuss what had occurred and what choice they should have made. We then would talk about God and the expectations.

Deleted User10/17/2022 at 09:47By the Grace of God I am. I will always show them mercy when they get into trouble and guide them to improve from bad behavior. I make effort to model a redemptive teacher before my students through my own actions. Being kind, forgiving, gentle, and merciful.

Deleted User10/14/2022 at 18:37I certainly try. I make sure to apologize and seek forgiveness when I sin so that I model that. If I get upset and speak harshly, I make sure to go back and speak about why I was upset and make sure the student understands I love them and want what’s best for them. Discipline is about correction not punishment.

Deleted User10/06/2022 at 08:59I am learning more and more to show grace to my students. I take a lot of things personally and see their failure as my failure, but I have to realize that we all make mistakes and grace is allowed to be shown to our students.
