By the grace of God I am. Working with the littles, you must have a forgiven heart. Often, they don’t know how to handle a situation or are caught in the moment and impulsive. I see it as a Fruit of the Spirit and Jesus’ teaching moment for both of us.

I am by God’s grace. As a tutor, I try not to condemn students when they fail or make repeated mistakes but rather, I try to find better ways to help them improve.

Redemption is so essential. They must see the fall but they also must see God’s redemptive plan!

I believe I have been in the past. I care and have seen students that have come back and said you taught me this or that. More wonderful is seeing Jesus in them. Watching as they have become missionaries, worship leaders or pastors. From tiny children to God fearing adults teaching to the next generation. God awesome.

I always tried to be a teacher of redemption. I calmly tried to speak with the child and discuss what had occurred and what choice they should have made. We then would talk about God and the expectations.
