Are you a “teacher of redemption” in your classroom? Explain.

I like to teach redemption by reminding students that God’s mercies are new every morning. When they make a mistake, I want them to know there are consequences, healing, and moving on.

I do try to be a teacher of redemption in my classroom. I hope to see kids as “unfinished products” who are in need of someone to come alongside and help them grow in their salvation and sanctification. I think when we have this perspective we will interact with students more with an attitude of grace.

I am far from perfect, but I do believe in giving people more than one chance to correct a wrong. If I fail I want to be one who is humble and admits it and makes it right.

I’d like to think so, even if I don’t always do so perfectly. WHen students make mistakes or misbehave, I try my best to guide them to the right direction as Christ wills.

Yes, there are times where asked students for forgiveness because I crossed a line when feeling like I need to be a “tough teacher.” As a follower of Christ, we need to see that reconciliation and redemption go hand in hand, they are essentials with our walk with the Lord and with our students.
