I believe so. I show up each day and share the love of God as it written in the scriptures. I do my best to remain consistent not only in my routines, but conduct towards all staff and students.

Yes I encourage my students through loving them, correcting them when they are wrong and showing grace in many situations where it may not be deserved.

I have been saved by grace through faith, not by my works. Jesus redeemed me and gives me the opportunity to share his ultimate redemption with others. I am learning and growing in this grace which I extend to my students as a teacher of redemption. The mistakes and conflicts are opportunities to learn and try again because Christ died so we might be in relationship with God. This relationship changes all aspects of my person and viewpoint, which inspires me to share and encourage students to walk in redemption themselves and share it with the students around them.

I believe so. I try to show them redemptive love and give them mercy.

I am a teacher of redemption in my classroom whether it be public or Christian school One of the first things I teach my students is that my classroom is a safe place to make mistakes. It is part of how we learn and it is part of how I am able to get to know their strengths and weaknesses and adjust curriculum accordingly. Now that COVID is mostly over, I am able to hug students who need it, especially after not doing well on an activity or project/assessment and remind them that there is still hope and chances. Same with behavior. Children will not always follow rules. There will be broken rules and on the other side of that an opportunity for a teachable moment for discussion and guidance.
