Focus in life will be in relationship with Jesus Christ and communion with Him, experiencing joy and hope.

I think it would be knowing my hope is in God and He has the plan for my life. Furthermore, it would also be to live within the hope of that.

Bankrupt foolishness says that the best way we can live until we die is filling up our lives with more pleasure any way possible. When guided by the Spirit’s wisdom, we see hope and purpose in our existence and seek out a continued relationship with God maybe not always understanding the ‘Why’s ‘ of painful circumstances or events but trusting God still has the answers.

My hope is that in our elderly years when enough life has passed us that we are more than ready to go Home, that we will be satisfied with the life we have led because we will have run the race of life side by side with the Lord so submitted and connected to Him that we let Him place every footsrep. I hope that we are looking forward to hearing, Well done, my good and faithful servant but are still filled with joy and trusting that God has a purpose for every breath He gives us so we will praise Him with each one.

The concept of bankruptcy foolishness in the final years of life without being guided by the Holy Spirit can lead a person to stages of hopelessness, despair and disillusionment. Lift guided by the Spirit provides hope in the midst of despair and hopelessness. The wisdom of the Spirit helps to perceive things differently. Christ in living within will keep a person pushing toward Gods expected end for their lives.
