As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

There should be no movement within the body except the Head gives the order. The body without the Head is dead.

Low and go with humility! Surrender, bow down to my Abba Father at the foot of the cross, submit to Him and make myself available for His Kingdom!

We all have one Lord to serve and we all work together helping each other to accomplish the the task set before us. We learn from each other and encourage each other along the way. It is like a big construction site: the building will rise if everyone works together.

Knowing that Christ is the head of the church, it is reassuring to know that all authority is Jesus and it is Him I serve, not a denomination.

As a Christian, Jesus Christ should always have lordship in me. He is the one who shall lead me and direct me, while I and the church should follow Him in everything we do.
