As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

The body can do nothing of itself without the mind. Christ is our all in all. When I lift a finger to type on this keyboard it is because of the thoughts that I wish to convey. Christ as the head represents authority, everything falls under the authority of God.

That as a church we must continue to grow in God, to follow his teachings

The church must follow Christ’s teachings first and foremost. I think in a lot of cases church leaders make up their own rules and doctrines that have nothing to do with Jesus’ teachings.

Communion, community and prayer for direction from Jesus where he wants me to serve.

Christ is the leader and through him flows everything. The church is built to be the hands and feet of Christ. To live out what he commands and how he lived.
