The body of Christ is connected to Christ in all things. The body operates in unity as lead by Christ. The body of Christ mirrors Christ and is obedient to Him.

Christ is the brains, the decision-maker, the leader and we, as the body of believers are to keep Him at the center of what we do and say.

The insights that come to mind on Christ as the Head and the church as the body is the establishment of a hierarchy. “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body , the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” (Ephesians 1:22-23, NIV). The body of Christ must adhere to the teachings of Christ when using their spiritual gifts for the Kingdom of God.

Christ being the head, we should always follow and not go our own way.
we depend in Christ for wisdom and guidance.
we should be glad Jesus is the one guiding us and supporting our needs, because He knows best.
