As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

Christ is the head of the church and we are the body. One cannot work without the other. By isolating ourselves and not being a member of the church, we are missing out on opportunities for God to use us, grow us and we need that sense of Christian community, especially now.

He is convinced that the church Paul taught him is Christ in his head and the body is a church, that is, a saint. I found the calling that God called me through the church. However, it is regrettable that the church was used as a place for people to socialize rather than socialize with God. It is also negative that some churches’ heads (owners) are perceived as pastors and elders rather than Christ.

Without Jesus, the rest of the body can’t function. He makes all decisions.

As the head of the church, Christ is over all of us, who are Christians. Christ holds all things together and as the body, we are called to serve and worship Him in all areas of life. Praise God!
