As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

The various groups of Christians that meet are part of one body ( not fragmented) with Christ as the Head, providing direction to all true believers, regardless of their locations. The divisions that appear to exist are superficial only.

Because Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, He is our leader. There is no other leader. Offices in the Church that help with leadership should operate under the authority of Christ and as administers of His reign. Because Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, the whole Church is united under Him and grown up into Him as it says in Ephesians 4.

It’s all about Him, for Him, and through Him. We are here to honor and glorify Him in and through everything.

God wants to take care of us.

Christ is the brains of the operation, and the church is directed and put into action from Christ.
