As you reflect on Christ as the Head and the church as the body, what insights come to mind?

To always be mindful of His Leadership.

When I think of Christ as the Head of the church I see Him as the great omnipresent and omniscient God that he is. I see Him as the mighty counselor and alpha and omega to us as believers.

The mind leads the body. We are all different body parts with different functions to accomplish His will!

A church should be lead by Christ and the people need to listen to where needs should be met. For example if there is no youth group and lots of young people the church needs to be listening to Christ to find that perfect person to lead the young people they are the future of the church.

Christ is in charge of His church and we, as His children are equipped in Him to serve as parts of the body. He gifts each of us uniquely to carry out the work of HIs body on this earth.
