What impressed me about bringing divine dialogue is understanding God. Asking God to help throughout the day. I forgot that.

It makes me reflect on my life. How amazing it is that God is with us in our daily walk every single day of our lives. He cares for us. He is Abba.

Throughout this discussion, I kept thinking of God’s omnipresence and I can truly speak with Him at any point of my day or night.

I think the description of us seeing life through a keyhole (having limited understanding of the experiences we are going through) was very thought provoking; Combing that with the idea that we are in danger of compartmentalizing our relationship with the Lord if we don’t bring Him into our lives throughout the day, as opposed to just our devotional time, a really interesting point.

Altogether, it impresses upon my heart the idea that God wants to be in our lives; He understands the difficulty we experience through our limited understanding and sinful nature. God wants us to bring Him into everything, as well as use everything to bring us closer to Him.

It cements the idea that our sinful nature has pushed us so far from God that we cannot accept the circumstances of our life, because our understanding is so limited, and the idea of everything being for the purpose of glorifying God is too much for us to handle, by bringing God into every situation, He will loving ease, explain, and help in the process of accepting and/or understanding what we experience.

It was a great reminder. I have a tendance to have my devotional time in the morning before everyone gets up and then when my day starts I never reflect on my devotion. I get busy doing all the things I want to do. Then at nigh I visit God again before going to bed. I can do a better job of continuing the dialogue throughout my entire day. Thank you for this reminder.
