Divine dialogue keeps me engaged with the Lord throughout my day.

I am working on becoming better at having dialogue with God throughout my day because I believe that God wants to be involve in every aspect of my life and it would draw me closer to Him and keep me in perfect peace despite what is happening around me.

This is a continuous conversation, whether its teaching from the Scriptures, spending time in prayer, or just walking along the road of life. In each moment of the day, we have opportunities to look to the Lord and engage Him in conversation, asking for direction and listening to the promptings of His Spirit.

Don’t shy away from having conversations about Jesus and divine prayer. It may be hard or feel reluctant to do it…but the Holy Spirit will help and God will be with you as we walk along our days in communication with Him.

I enjoyed the idea that the two men became so comfortable with Jesus in the conversation that they hated to see him continue on rather than stay with them. I do not always cherish the time that I spend in prayer and desire to linger longer in the conversation. This is something I will be intentional to notice and not take for granted.
