I often do devotional in the morning, but often I lose track of what i have learnt as my day gets busy, I think its a great Idea to imagine walking Emmas road with Jesus discussing the things that stood out in your devotional or verse, it’s definitely something I will adopt.

What impressed me most was their desire to keep Jesus with them and how their hearts burned within them.

The lesson reminds me how God also wants to have continuous communication with him throughout the day. Prayer is not a religious ritual but a God-given way for us to freely and boldly express ourselves to Him, who is our Father.

For me it’s about open and honest communication with God. Making sure my communication with God is a two way street. Being open to listen to God.Having quiet time is so important for me.

I’m impressed to have the opportunity to pray without ceasing. I’m very aware of God but moving to praying about everything continually will really enhance my relationship with God, my Father. I love how Jesus joined the walkers as they discussed their troubles. That gives me comfort and peace.
