If we choose to participate in a daily divine dialogue we will grow in our understanding and relationship with Jesus, and He will impart His wisdom to us, enabling us to walk a true Christian walk in which we set the best example of what it means to follow Jesus.

Divine dialogue… How many times I start my day with Bible study, prayer, and reading but then go throughout my day without stopping to talk with God, seek wisdom, patience, etc. This exercise has reminded me to stop periodically throughout the day and just talk with God. Today, I start.

I believe that God wants to spend more time with us, to speak to us all the time, and not just on isolated occasions. He wants to walk, talk, and reveal more and more of himself to us if we’ll simply listen and spend time with Him. Then, he’ll open our eyes to the abundant life found only in an ongoing relationship with Jesus Christ.

I tell this to the kids I work with all the time. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. It’s just dialogue. It’s a conversation between you and God throughout the day.

This can be common. So focused on our own problems that we do not take the time to look up and see who we are talking to. How much different it is if we call to him first instead of admiring the problem and trying to do anything without Him.
