God is as close as a friend, a faithful companion in thoughout my life’s journey. God loves to listen to whatever happens in my life and everything in my mind as I walk day to day.

When I rededicated my live back to God almost 11 years ago, this is how I was taught to pray. I start my morning saying “Good Morning Lord!” And talk to Him constantly throughout the day. We talk about the errands I have to run, the Bible studies I have to prep for, the traffic, the sales clerks, everything. I end my day by reading scriptures and say “Good Night Lord, thank you for a great day!”

What impressed me most about bringing the divine dialogue with me throughout my day is seemingly daunting as sinner trying to be as perfect as possible for an entire time when trying. Being naturally prone to sinning, whatever we do we are not able to do with our own strength with out relying or depending on God so, i know we fail at it. But the comfort remains that we try as much as may be able to be done in what ever we do. Being divine, holy, pure, perfect all the time are not easy states we may remain in for long times trying to be any or all of these during most times, much more through our all day long

I think that talking to God throughout the day helps me to know I’m never alone. He knows!

although we can set a specific time for prayer, it is nice to just keep an open communication with God with God. we might call it shoot up prayers, a quick short prayer shot up to God like “Lord, I need Your wisdom.” or Father, thank You!”
