As you studied Luke 24:13-32, what impressed you most about the idea of bringing divine dialogue with you throughout your entire day?

We always have Christ with us by His Holy Spirit. Remembering this is crucial to continuing to walk in the Spirit all day long.

I often think of Jesus as being on the phone with me instead of in person. The intimacy of knowing He is with me ever step of the journey is much more powerful than the idea of calling a friend in another state.

Seeing Jesus as our companion on the road of life is very beautiful. Too often I like the fact that I can check off that devotions are done for the day. Diving dialogue with my Savior throughout the day brings Him with me to help guide me with every step and decision.

That they were trying to understand and yet, Jesus calls them foolish. We are all so blind at times. Here these two men were, and they were blind as bats…and yet, most of us would have been right there with them, and just as blind. Am I a fool at times as well? Absolutely. I just don’t want to stay there.

God is omnipresent and Jesus is near. Luke 24:13-32 is a concrete example of this reality.
