I think it’s far too easy to forget about what we read in the morning and spend all day “without” Jesus. The idea of traveling with Him, communicating with Him and ultimately even communing with Him is intriguing and exciting. I like the concept of spending more of our day in constant communication with the Lord rather than simply a set time in the morning.

Rehearsing the Gospel all day. Looking for examples of the Gospel in everyday things.
Reminding myself of who he is and what he has done for me. -
It helped visualize a scene with CHRIST walking and talking with the two strangers to the village of Emmaus.

This is the textbook definition of meditation. These men were discussing a very recent event and how it applied to their interpretation the scriptures as they went about their daily travel. We as Christians can do this same thing as we go about our daily routines, discussing /meditating on scripture whether with a friend or by ourselves.

As a single mother of 2 young children, I don’t really have a lot of help from anyone which isn’t a problem for the most part. The thing that I long for the most is someone to talk to about my day or ask for their opinion on what to do about a problem but there isn’t anyone so hearing that God wants to be a part of my day really means a lot to me as I don’t ever feel like anyone hears me and that is what I want desperately.
