What impressed me most about the idea of bringing divine dialogue with me throughout my entire day, is something I need to practice.

Kmowing that Jesus is with you all the time, every minute, hanging on your every thought brings joy to me. I respond by constantly conversing with Him through prayer, praise, thankfulness and sometimes petition for others or myself.

To have a continuous conversation or conscious contact with God it the ultimate goal. God is always with us, we are with God when we pray.

When we immerse our daily lives with God’s word and open dialogue, we grow closer to Him, relying on Him, rather than the world and ourselves to fill the voids. We draw closer without it feeling forced and grow spiritually.

I’ve tried this myself and I now do it regularly. I thank God as He keeps the robot green for me, as He finds a parking for me, as He gives me words (or a closed mouth) in business meetings during the day … the more I do it, the more I see Him in the tiny events throughout my day. I talk to Him openly as these events take place, thanking Him for them and chuckling with Him as if He were right there with me.
