The story is about two travelers who were met by Jesus, but Jesus kept them from not knowing him initially. During their time together they shared their problems relating to Jesus of Nazareth, and He being handed over by the chief priests and our rulers… a sentenced to death, and they crucified him. This conversation happened on the third day after he death…Jesus at the table broke bread and gave it to them, their eyes were opened and they seen Jesus Jesus then he disappeared. What impressed me about this story was Jesus and how he was able to speak and teach, then opening their eyes…and to know that I have access to the Word Of God and can study it and learn from it.

God is the creator of everything. I should acknowledge Him in everything I do.

As a Christian, I rely on God for everything in life. Divine dialogue throughout the day is not only important, but it is necessary and vital to the Christian walk. When we are focused on the Lord, the things of the world do not have their attraction or power that they otherwise have when we let our guard down.

Pray without ceasing and that Jesus actually wants to hear all the things we have to say to Him.

I tend to rush through what I read and forget a few minutes later. If I share with someone what I’ve learned right away, it will tend to stick with me throughout the day. I think they key is to purpose to meditate. But I like the idea of inviting Jesus to dinner and to learn and remind one another what he taught us during the day.
