As you studied Luke 24:13-32, what impressed you most about the idea of bringing divine dialogue with you throughout your entire day?

Just knowing that the Lord is listening to me and is there for me brings me the peace I need to live my life each day. It is an assurance that we can go on each day knowing that we are not alone at all times – good and bad. I love knowing he is there for us always!

I think I have been doing this for a while now, but I did not know what it was referred to. I talk to God ‘on the fly’ throughout the day. Just as I would if my daughter or granddaughter were in the room with me. Sometimes, I’ve wondered if this was being too ‘familiar’ with Him and I should be more reverent. But it feels so natural to talk with Him about everything. What I need to practice is listening.

It’s just really soothing to know that you can go through your day talking to God about any and everything and you can be rest assured he’s listening and he’s speaking to you through your actions and conversations.

If I can recall divine dialogue and scripture, it will help me navigate in this fallen world and walk in the Spirit.
