Christian Learning Center Forums Discussion Forum At the beginning of this program we learned: “People have many reasons for rejecting the Christian faith. Some may admire Christ but dislike His followers. Others find it difficult to accept any faith that claims to be the only way to God. Why would anyone limit themselves to only one of the world’s great religions?” How valid are each of these objections? What is your response to each?

I think it all has to do with emotional commitment where people value deep emotional to nurturing their believes yet, getting to know christ has been the most amazing experience of change in my live

I have heard all of these over the years and even said them myself, I would ask them why they don’t like christians and go from there, not all roads lead to God but that is hard to say to people who believe that even if I back it up by scripture, each person will make their own judgment and decisions you can’t change peoples minds or argue with them, just love them and pray for these people.

It does seem to be true that there is a difference between those who know about Jesus and those who know Jesus. Many will say they believe in God but they don’t believe that Jesus is the only way to God.

Within all the strength of evidence, the greatest is that of actually experiencing God through a personal relationship. Belief and acceptance and submission through the work of the cross brings change and transformation.

It is simply because of the hardness of the human heart … and the refusal to allow that anyone – other than self – could possibly control our destiny … That anyone would refuse to acknowledge Jesus as Whom He claimed to be! The task before us, though, is to be able to help others see Jesus for Who He is – without further alienating them from the possibility of meeting God face-to-face. Good arguments are a beginning, but that’s not all that we have to do.

On the surface, these reasons seem to ring true. But God is not a God of what is fair and feels good. He is a God of truth. He is set apart and Holy. He has provided a way for us that is simple and easy if we are willing to let go of control and approach Him like a child.
